Things about me

  • A good portion of my vocabulary is movie and song references.I will love you if you feed me.
  • Most humiliating experience was when I was between seven and nine years old. The teenage boy who lived next door spit a mouthful of soda in my face. He and his friends thought it was hilarious.
  • I cannot hula hoop. Tried over and over through out my life and the hoop has never hula’d for me. It’s my 2016

  • What my last text message says “Perscription XXX348 is ready at Target Pharmacy #XXV”
  • Favorite video game series is Dragon Age. I ship Alistair, Fenris, and Cullen.

  • I would consider to my most valuable possession to be my wedding ring. It is the only possession I own with heaps of sentimental value attached to it.
  • One of my insecurities is related to my acne. I have dealt with it since pre-puberty and will likely have it up until I die. Scarring sucks but the painful, easy to spot at 500 yards newbies are the worst. I’ve gotten good at makeup to hide them.
  • Jareth and Sara is my favorite OTP!

1 oz sweet and sour mix

  1. I felt so for you as you related your humiliating experience. I HATE to be embarrassed. It is one of my biggest fears. Even now as an adult I still cringe when I imagine it.

  2. The acne! I’m 37 years old & still break out like a damn teenager. The only good thing is that people think I’m younger than I am! Makeup…..I think it makes them look worse on my face, maybe I just don’t know how to cover them up right.

    • I have learned there is an insanely thin line between covering them up and looking like fell into a MAC display. It doesn’t help that I am so pale. For me, bare minerals line of foundation and powder works the best. It’s incredibly light in both how it looks and how it feels on my skin. A beauty blender also keeps my fingers off my face and lends an airbrushed look. I’m a bit of a makeup addict. I love to play around with it, LOL! I have a daily oral medication to help with break outs since they turned cystic with age. Boo on bad skin

  3. My most humiliating experience when I was a kid was when I was five or six years old, and a newbie to kindergarten. I used to hang out with a boy and a bunch of year six kids came and took my hat. I was really worried because one of the school rules was that we weren’t allowed to play outside without one. To get it back, the year six kids made the boy and me kiss a couple of times.

  4. Thanks for the chance! I agree with you with acne that’s always been a huge issue of mine. I always thought as I got older it wouldn’t be as bad but it has really changed. I’ve used so many products but nothing seems to get rid of it. 😦

  5. With you on the hula hoop! I’m a dancer and have even done some belly dancing. Still, no hula hooping for me. Good thing it never comes up on job interviews. 😉

  6. Totally with you on the hula hoop. A few weeks ago I was visiting an elementary school and some kids were practicing a dance routine with hoops. I borrowed one while they were on break and…nope, couldn’t put the hula in that hoop.
